Im at a loss. My 05 crew after a bit of driving fine will suddenly start sudden drops in rpm and studder. At first usually when i accelerate between 40 and 60. It gets so bad it will die or damn near. After fighting with it a few it will start throttling back up agai for a bit. I can turn it off and restart and it will run fine for a few minutes.

How Does RPM Work? Upon letting off the gas, the RPM of a car should slowly drop to the fixed idle position. This constant idle RPM is usually 1000 RPM. In some vehicles, it can be 1500, but it should be constant when you let off the gas. In some cars, it can drop to 800 RPM. An RPM below 800 is called low RPM.
Doesn't happen when I brake or accelerate, only when deccelerating... If I fold down the rear seats I can hear the sound EVEN LOUDER, but can't tell where Just make sure after raising car off the ground (assuming you don't punch a hole in the gas tank or something crazy), you can get it back down (pray tell with the...

Jul 07, 2015 · I have this issue now. Letting clutch off slowly should give a smooth start but sounds like it'll stall. The RPMs drop to 500 and makes the sound like I'm going to stall. Usually more in first 10 miles driving. Up til February it was really smooth. Had this issue and the RPMs going up to 750-1000 when I depressed clutch on idle.
Sep 18, 2011 · I know it's not from lugging because it does it at high rpm's. doesn't clunk when letting out the clutch. Only after being under way. if i let the gas off really slow our give it gas really slow, no clunk. Just when I let up on the gas all the way. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Lately when driving at speed, say 45, and I let off the gas, the RPMs drop down to about 1,000. I am used to them dropping a little when letting off gas but this seems too low. Sometimes it does not do this and they stay just a little under where i was. Sometimes they will drop to 1,000 then slowly climb back up on their own.
If you are running hard and come up to a razer back or drop off and let all the way.off the throttle it will die 99 percent of the time instead of coming to an idle. If the ebc is inguaged and not free wheeling it keeps the engine under load and it wont quit until the clutch releases. The warmer the engine temp.the worse it gets.
